Refund & Returns Policy

1. General Return Window
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 calendar days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we generally will not accept returns or authorize a full refund or exchange, except where California law requires otherwise. Please keep what you purchase and only purchase what you can afford to keep. Contact us if you have questions.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be returned in the same unused condition received, and include all original packaging and documentation (e.g., grading certificates, provenance paperwork).
- Collectibles (coins, stamps, knives, scouting memorabilia) must not have been altered, cleaned, or removed from protective holders/certified slabs. Evidence of finger prints, dirt, water/food stains, cigarette/cigar smoke or other contaminants can void warranty and return rights.
3. Non-Returnable Items
- Items beyond the 30 calendar day return window
- Digital/downloadable products
- Personal care items, sanitary goods, or hazardous materials
- Knives that show signs of use, sharpening, or tampering
- Any item sold “as-is,” “final sale,” or explicitly marked non-returnable at purchase
4. Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Partial refunds may be granted if:
- An item is returned not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error. Contact us immediately for consultation.
- Items are returned after the 30-day window, but within a reasonable grace period, at our discretion.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of approval or denial. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
Late or missing refunds:
- Check with your bank and credit card provider, as posting times vary.
- If you still have not received your refund after 10 business days, contact us at support@rusticvalleycollectibles.com.
6. Sale & Discounted Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale, clearance, and discounted items are final sale unless defective.
7. Exchanges
Except for one-of-a-kind or limited items, we may, at our discretion, replace items if defective, damaged in shipping, or materially misdescribed. To request an exchange, email support@rusticvalleycollectibles.com with photos and a description of the specific issue(s). We will contact you.
Do NOT return items without prior written (email) approval from us.
8. Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit equal to the return value. If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
9. Shipping Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, product defect). Shipping costs are non-refundable. For items valued over $250, we strongly recommend insured, trackable shipping (required for coins, knives, and graded collectibles).
10. California Compliance Notice
California Civil Code §1723 requires us to clearly post our return/refund policy. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms above. If no policy were posted, California law would require us to allow returns within 7 days — our posted policy supersedes this default.
